RusHOLTS company became the official distributor of Russian brand of premium car care products - Argentum Premium.

Argentum Premium is a new brand of Russian automobile cosmetics and, in a way, it’s a reaction to the new economic conditions, also it’s an import substitution product. 

Almakem company for more than 10 years has been producing car chemicals and cosmetics under brands of its customers. The company once modernized its production lines especially to produce premium automobile cosmetics. After the sanctions have been imposed on Russian economy the company developed its own formulations, optimized its production infrastructure for Russian raw materials and produced a series of premium car care products Argentum Premium.

"It’s still too early to talk about the full import substitution in the Russian chemical industry, - said Alexei Smirnov, Head of Almakem Marketing Department. - "Before the crisis, 95% of raw materials for car chemicals production were imported. Now the share of imported components decreased approximately to 50%. It is impossible to completely abandon the import of surfactants. For the production of high-quality car chemicals we should have modern formulations and technologies from world leaders, with whom we have been cooperating (DOW Chemical, KAO, Shell). In our formulation development there are some dated by 2015, it is the maximum speed of new technologies introduction".

Using the Russian components and modern manufacturing base gave Almakem ability to create premium product at a competitive price.

The company is a long-standing partner of RusHOLTS. "We like the idea of creating a domestic brand of premium car chemicals. We use the production site of Almakem to produce our own brands. We got interested by a new product, we tested it and offered our partners our services as a unique distributor and logistician. Exclusive rights to start the sales of the goods were granted to Neste”, - said Alexander Kuzmin, CEO of RusHOLTS.
